This topic will be a response to the topic titled triquetra in the group - trinity group. Here is the link to the group.

The Founder of the Group starts out his topic my going back into History, briefly showing the Pagan roots of the Triquetra; then asserting to the fact that Christians over the ages has used the symbol of the Triquetra as a representation of the Trinity. Thus, the commentator wants his reader to conclude, that if one of the symbol use for representing the trinity concept has its orgin in Paganism, then the Trinity itself must also be Pagan. And therefore must be rejected.

QUOTE: 1

The symbol has been used by Christians as a sign of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). The triquetra has been used extensively on Christian sculpture, vestments, book arts and stained glass. It has been used on the title page and binding of some editions of the New King James Version. *

RESPONSE:

It is true that the Triquetra has its roots in Paganism. Infact, if you go way back into history and study symbols used by Luciferians in Satanism you would see that the Origin of the Triquetra is a Symbol of Satanism.

Secondly, it is true also that Christians for over the years has used the Triquetra has a symbol of The Trinity. *

But, the Truth of the matter is that, THE TRIQUETRA IS NOT A OFFICIAL SYMBOL OF THE TRINITY. Not everyone uses the Triquetra as a symbol of the Trinity. The Triquetra is used by a selected few in Christendom.

Some Christian groups adopt the symbol simply because it is a ring with tree points which they believe represents three THREE Divine persons in the Godhead; nonetheless, they are unware of the true symbol of the Triquetra. Other Christian groups incorporated the symbol into the Christian faith during the 5th Century when Pagans were joining the Christian faith, but didn't wanted to leave their Pagan Symbols and ideas behind. *
